We spent yesterday with our good friends Gretchen and Joe and two of their boys, Mitchell and Drew down in Galveston at the beach. Of course, we are no strangers to the beach this summer and Mollie was excited when she saw the water. We played in the water and in the sand and Mollie ate some sand (I swear we do feed her) and laughed with Gretchen and Joe. It was a wonderful day and everyone was exhausted last night. Mollie's getting a tan (we coat her in sunscreen) and John and I got some sunburns but nothing like we have experienced in the past. Mollie did really well at the beach and walked up and down the sand a lot. She loved getting in the water and having the waves splash up on her.
