Well the sick bug has decided to stay around at the Harmon house. Last Saturday, Mollie woke up VERY sick and continued like this for about 2 hours. Finally around 3 Sunday morning, she finally fell asleep (in our bed) and woke up later like everything was fine. Well, Monday night John got home from baseball and wasn't quite himself. I guess Mollie decided that when he told her he wished he could have her virus she gave it to him. Tuesday I woke up feeling not-so-great so at 5:30 in the morning, I called my parents and my dad came over and got Mollie. The last thing we needed was for her to get this stomach bug again. She stayed at my parent's all day (thank goodness for grand-parents) and John and I spent the day sleeping and trying to feel better.
We thought everyone was back to feeling good until I woke up Friday morning and saw that Mollie was very hot. I took her temperature and it was 101.8. So, here we go again. John took her in with him to work that morning and I took a 1/2 day off that afternoon. We thought she was feeling better that night but yesterday I checked on her and her temperature was 104.8 so motrin and tylenol went in full-force on the Monkey. Every 2 hours I would rotate the two and finally last night she seemed to be back to normal (fever too.) However, this morning she woke up and was coughing, had a fever and her right ear was draining. So we knew that she possibly could have an ear infection or the tubes had come out. Luckly, we have a pediatrict urgent care by us so off we went. Yes, it was an ear infection (first one since we had the tubes put in over a year ago) and we are now on ear drops, cough medicine and an antibiotic. So to show everyone that Mollie is feeling better I took a little video of her tonight to prove it. Please pray that our little Monkey gets to feeling back to normal!
