East Tennessee

Well we successfully made it to Knoxville yesterday and we are proud to say that Mollie did so well on the trip! We left around 4:00, Wednesday morning and got to Birmingham, Alabama around 4:00 that afternoon. Mollie probably slept for 6+ hours on the road and we only had to watch one Elmo video and a little bit of Toy Story. We stopped 3-4 times so she could eat, be changed, etc but otherwise she was a trooper.
Yesterday we stopped in Chattanooga and went to the Tennessee Aquarium. Mollie did really well and liked looking at the fish and everything they had there. We got into Knoxville in the early evening and had dinner with John's Mom, his step-dad and his cousin Rebeka (Mollie's godmother.)
Tonight we are going to the Tennessee Smokies Minor League game with a ton of John's family and friends so that should be fun.

Summer Fun

We've only been on summer break for three days but we are having so much fun. I took Mollie with some girlfriends of mine to the local YMCA's water park on Monday and she had a blast! Yesterday we had to take Mollie to get her ears fitted for her plugs for the lake and the beach this summer and she did so good. We had our good friends the Pillow's over last night for some food off of John's new pit. They have a little boy, Christian, who is just a month younger than Mollie and they had so much fun playing.

Mollie's Birthday

We our little girl is one and John and I can't get over how time has flown by this past year. I feel like she does something new and adorable every day. We had first year portraits done yesterday (TOO CUTE.) Here are some pictures from Tuesday night's family party and a lot from today. She made out like a bandit and had a blast with all her cousins and friends!
