Back in the saddle

Yes, I know I am a horrible mother for not updating Mollie's blog more often but time has been flying by and I'm just know starting to feel like I can slow down. The past almost 2 months have been insane for our family. In January, Mollie had 3 ear infections in about 4-5 weeks so we decided to get tubes done. Well we had to take her back the next week and have them sucked out because they were so bad. John has had to take her in again, 2 weeks later, to have them sucked out. However, they are working now and he takes her back next week and hopefully we'll get the all clear for the next 3-6 months. Keep those fingers crossed!
A lot of our friends and family know we have been busy but this time of year is killer on John. Starting in January he had basketball, wrestling, soccer, track practice and baseball practice starting. Basketball and wrestling are over (sorry Pillow) and track and soccer are winding down but baseball is winding up. Also spring football will start in April/May so hopefully by June things will be back to normal or whatever that is. In the middle of all of this, John and I got a Honda Pilot this past weekend. It's a 2005, with 50, 000 miles on it. It's like a charcoal color with gray leather seats, DVD, sunroof and other stuff that John will probably only know how to work. I love it and can't wait to go on our first road trip.
Our spring break is in a week and a half (WOO HOO!!) and the three of us are going to Fredricksburg which is outside of Austin for three days. We are so excited to be able to get out of town as a family and enjoy each other for a while. We're also going to get Mollie's 9 month pictures taken and also her 9 month doctor's visit while we're off.
Speaking of the Monkey...she is doing wonderfully! She has pretty much outgrown her baby car seat and we bought her a "big girl" car seat last night. She is crawling everywhere and can fit through places I never expect. She says, "Da Da, Ma Ma and Na Na." I think the na na is her form of no (which she is hearing a lot of these days.) She's standing up while holding onto something and is working on holding and walking. She doesn't have any teeth yet but we think she's teething so maybe soon although I do enjoy those gummy grins. She also still loves her Sesame Street especially Elmo!
Well I think that's it for now. Love to all!
